Write access is needed to send chat, moderate chat, ban users, or edit stream details. Google may show broad YouTube management permissions, including video deletion, because YouTube does not provide a chat-only write scope.

This tool requires OAuth sign-in to access YouTube's data APIs.

Note: The YouTube Data API only provides aggregate subscriber totals (polled roughly every 30 minutes). It does not emit real-time “new follower” events, so you will not see Twitch-style follow pings here.

Membership-related events and subscriber counts remain limited to channels you own; chat functionality will work across most public channels.
